A large trucking company that has ties to the industry nationwide recently made a donation to a Florida community organization to show their local support.

Planning continues in preparation for the new cross-border ruling by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to ensure that all those involved with logistics relations between the U.S. and Mexico are safe and protected.

Although statistics about driver mishaps as a whole are useful, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) plans to dig deeper into this issue by studying the individual habits of commercial drivers throughout the country.

Truckers must tackle some difficult situations every day while navigating the nation's highways to ensure the safety and protection of all motorists on the road.

Although trucking job opportunities are on the rise despite economic unrest, many of these jobs are the result of an elevated turnover rate throughout the industry.

Staying fit and healthy should be one of truckers' top priorities while handling the demands of their sometimes physically taxing occupation.
