Reddaway honored for safe trucking

Pacific Northwest regional carrier Reddaway Trucking was recently honored by the California Trucking Association and the Colorado Motor Carriers Association for its and excellence in truck driving safety over the past year.

Reddaway was the recipient of the second-place Fleet Safety Award from the California Trucking Association, while scoring third in the Colorado Motor Carriers Association 2011 annual Fleet Safety Contest. For that award, Reddaway competed in the less-than-truckload, less than three-million-miles category.  

"Our Reddaway professionals work tirelessly to uphold the highest levels of workplace and highway safety," said Dave Yonemoto, director of safety at Reddaway. "We are proud to receive such recognition for their effort. We aim to make this achievement just one of many landmarks on our continued pursuit of safety excellence."

TJ O'Connor, president of Reddaway said his company believes employee safety is paramount and one of its top priorities is the satisfaction of its customers.

Reddaway also works to improve efficiency and productivity for its customers. The company recently announced the release of a new mobile app, which provides on-the-go access to shipment tracking and monitoring in real time.
