New partnership to assist driver sightlines

A recent partnership between Pana-Pacific and Mobileye will work to provide greater levels of truck driving safety on highways throughout North America.

Through the partnership, Pana-Pacific will be able to distribute Mobileye's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems solution for Collision Avoidance and Mitigation, which allows participating fleets to provide improve safety measures for their drivers.

"This is a very important opportunity to improve safety on our highways," said Isaac Litman, CEO of Mobileye. "We have invested heavily to make our roads and vehicles safer, and this relationship will go a long way to improving the skills of drivers. Our best in class Mobileye C2-270 will now have accelerated access to the commercial vehicle market - at the production level and in the aftermarket."

Mobileye has been known to create innovations in technology that can be award-winning, recently receiving the Most Innovative Product for Logistics Industry of the Year 2011 award at the Logistics Gala in Warsaw, Poland. The company received the prize for its technology relating to helping drivers view the area around their truck.
