Nebraska State Patrol to hold meetings to review CSA 2010

Created: Monday, January 10th, 2011 02:01 pm

Many commercial vehicle operators are aware that CSA 2010 was implemented last month. However, some of these individuals are still not versed in the specific stipulations of these new regulations.

Fortunately, some private and government organizations are hosting seminars that can enable drivers and safety directors to ensure CSA 2010 compliance.

For instance, the Nebraska State Patrol's Carrier Enforcement Division announced last week that it will be holding town meetings across the state that focus on the new set of rules. In addition, attendees will learn about Nebraska's State Safety Truck Safety Regulations as well as new ethanol usage guidelines that are outlined in the Hazardous Materials Regulations.

These seminars will be held in Fremont, O'Neil, Lexington and Sidney, and take place between February 14 and 17.

Safety directors may want to consider coupling similar seminars with online truck driver training courses. These classes could help commercial vehicle operators ensure that they are keeping up and properly following any new rules that may emerge in their industry.
