LinkAmerica opening a new facility in Fort Worth to bring in more business
LinkAmerica recently announced its plans to relocate to Fort Worth's CentrePort Business Park in the upcoming months, which the company believes will open up new opportunities in the high traffic Fort Worth, Texas, area.
"The Dallas-Fort Worth area is one of the largest logistics hubs in the nation, and LinkAmerica must have a presence in this market in order to enhance our position in the industry," said John Simon, CEO of LinkAmerica. "A presence in the market also provides access to people with skill sets in the transportation and logistics industry."
The company's relocation will also open up more than 100 trucking jobs, giving truckers with the appropriate CDL training an opportunity to join a trucking company near one of the nation's busiest airports, which serves the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Another trucking company in Texas was recently in the news, with Green Energy Oilfield Services signing an agreement with Clean Energy Fuels to construct a natural gas fueling station at the Green Energy headquarters in Fairfield, Texas, reported OC Metro.
