When awards are chosen by customers for their picks of the best trucking and logistics companies, fleet management owners know that this recognition is special. Recently, Schneider International received two awards in separate divisions of their business that were selected by readers of Logistics Management.

The company was honored for various aspects of its business, including offering fair and steady pricing to its patrons, utilizing modern technology for streamlining its services and the overall quality of its work.

More than 4,500 participants responded to the Logistics Management questionnaire for the awards. Schneider won the Quest for Quality Award in the Bulk Tanker category and the Intermodal division.

“When you consider the operating environment in which carriers and 3PLs found themselves operating over the past 12 months, our editorial staff agrees that securing reader faith and walking away with a Quest for Quality Award in 2011 is nothing less than a monumental achievement,” Mike Levans, Logistics Management’s editorial director, said in a statement.

Truckers who have recently completed their CDL training may consider applying for jobs with trucking companies that have received prestigious awards, for these recognitions can often translate into positive and successful working environments.
