First Guard Insurance Company announces winners of 2011 Fleet Safety Awards

Rewarding some of the top companies that exercise best practices in truck driving safety, First Guard Insurance Company recently announced the winners of its 2011 Fleet Safety Awards.

Ace Doran Hauling & Rigging in Cincinnati, Ohio; Beelman Truck in East St. Louis, Illinois; M C Tank Transport in West Chester, Ohio; and Northwest Logistics Heavy Haul in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, were announced as the winners of the awards due to their low amount of claims filed with the company, demonstrating excellence in trucking safety.

"First Guard is unapologetically selective when it comes to the trucking companies we underwrite. In any given year, we turn down more deals than we pursue," said Courtney Wilson, director of marketing and corporate communications for First Guard. "We regard this year's award winners as the finest and safest trucking companies in the business."

According to Heavy Duty Trucking magazine, the winners of the awards all have fleets that deal with sophisticated freight hauls, which makes their low number of insurance claims even more impressive.
