Companies showcase new products at the 2012 Mid-America Trucking Show
At the upcoming 2012 Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 22 to 24, WABCO plans to showcase some of its breakthroughs in technology that will help trucking companies with truck driving safety, driver effectiveness and environmental sustainability.
"As the global technology leader in our industry, WABCO's breakthroughs are increasingly being adopted by original equipment manufacturers, leading to higher content per vehicle for WABCO safety and efficiency systems," said Jacques Esculier, chairman and CEO for WABCO.
A few of the newest innovations from WABCO is its OnGuardPLUS, an emergency braking system, OptiDrive, an automated manual transmissions technology and MAXXUS, a single-piston air brake for trucks.
Another company that is expected to show off its new technology at the 2012 Mid-America Trucking Show is Commercial Vehicle Group, which will display its technologies, including National Seating, KAB Seating, Bostrom Seating, Stratos Seating, Moto Mirror, RoadWatch, Sprague Devices, FlameTEK and its new Care4 Station, that is a fully enclosed medical kiosk.
Mervin Dunn, president and CEO of CVG, said the Care4 Station is designed to help long-haul truckers deal with health concerns by giving them access to high-quality, convenient and affordable healthcare.
