No matter where a trucker’s routes lie along the nation’s highways, inspiration can be drawn from one brave truck driver who was recently navigating his way through Canada. According to Landline, a driver who has yet to be named acted quickly when another trucker on Highway 105 in Quebec lost control of his logging big rig. The man maneuvered his empty flatbed truck in the way of the falling logs so that they would not cause harm to other motorists using the roadways.

Police officials who were on the scene said that accidents often occur at this busy section of the highway, reports Today’s Trucking. However, in this case, no one was hurt and only the vehicles suffered any damage.

New truckers beginning their career in the industry can learn how to respond to emergencies such as this by completing their compliance training for truck drivers coursework. These classes assist drivers in learning how to properly handle their big rigs so that when mishaps occur, drivers have the skills to avoid further damage or hazardous accidents.
