Idaho looking to truckers to enhance advisory board
As the economy continues to experience some uncertainty, trucking organizations are doing all they can to ensure drivers across the country are gaining the wherewithal to handle their jobs, know new regulations and learn about job opportunities wherever they may reside. Recently, the Idaho Transportation Board called for in-state truckers to join an advisory panel to better the trucking industry in the area.
Those who choose to participate in the board will discuss issues and topics such as last year’s new Compliance, Safety and Accountability (CSA) laws and how highways and roadways can be repaired to protect all motorists from unnecessary mishaps. Truckers will be compensated for their time and will be able to be a great help in managing this vast industry.
Not only is Idaho revamping some of its trucking organizations, the state is also opening up new job opportunities to those who may have recently completed their CDL training or for seasoned drivers searching for a change. According to NPG News in Idaho, there are several long-haul trucking opportunities to be had for those based in the state looking to haul freight that has recently been in high demand.
