To help truckers stay within regulations, one company has been creating software that truck company owners and drivers can use to stay safe and informed while on the job. HELP Inc, which stands for Heavy Vehicle Electronic License Plate, has found ways to streamline data collection, providing more concise readings to deferral agencies and trucking companies that are making sure they follow rules, such as correct weight and hours driven by their truckers.

“Current, complete and correct data ensure accurate screening and reduce the potential for legal action,” Richard A. Clasby, chief executive officer and president of HELP, said in a statement.

He added that HELP can assist fleets in staying up-to-date on all observation technology by keeping their data software on par with the latest developments on the market.

According to HELP’s website, the nonprofit organization aims to ensure trucking safety at its highest level, which will protect all motorists utilizing the nation’s highways. The group says they plan to work alongside the efforts the government has made in regards to safety by presenting fleet management owners with additional options for their equipment so that they may quickly and efficiently stay within regulations.
