The Memphis 3rd Annual Trucking Expo will be held next month, showcasing products in trucking while educating the public on various services provided by the industry.
The National Association for Minority Truckers will put on the expo, featuring an emcee performance by Tim Brady, retired owner-operator and trucking journalist. Brady will offer first-hand advice and perspective for other trucking professionals, specifically addressing issues and concerns surrounding trucker safety, fleet management efficiency and other best practices, Trucking Info reported.
At the event, participants can enjoy educational seminars on fuel savings, commercial insurance truckers and technology and more. Trucking firms will be involved in a job fair, on the hunt for more professionals with CDL training, as well as speeches from industry experts, Trucking Info reported.
Another trucking industry event was recently held in Canada, bringing together drivers from five provinces to raise money for the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. Today's Trucking reported the event raised more than $65,000 for the Special Olympics Convoy event, with all the money supporting the amazing athletes representing the provinces.
