Having a great truck stop to pull over at can truly brighten a day of long hauling. Various companies have been re-vamping their services to ensure the satisfaction of drivers and trucker health, reports Convenience Store Decisions.

Many stops are utilizing the growing interests in fresh items. Quiktrip, found in Oklahoma and several other locations, has bakery items for sale created in their own company facilities.
Sheetz convenience stores claim their glazed donuts are a top-seller. Their kitchens are equipped to produce more than 60,000 donuts a day for hungry truckers. The company also offers smaller baked items for those watching their waistline.

Some of these big names in truck stops are using the growing technological advances that are available to make finding food much easier. There are apps for iPhones that can locate a trucker's favorite stop quickly, and provide a list of products and business hours.

According to Discoverdef.com, the Loves truck stop chain is continuing to offer an array of products in their stores, and it will add the option of bulk diesel exhaust fluid so truckers can gas up quickly and efficiently.
