A online trucking driver training company recently partnered with the Oklahoma Trucking Association, which provides members of the OTA access to a web-based training program in order to receive the necessary online CDL training to become a certified truck driver.

"We can now help OTA members within our fleet and warehouse/terminal member companies to improve safety, compliance with CSA, employee development and reduce costs resulting in more efficient operations, less downtime and increased operating income," said Brad Pruitt, account executive for the truck driver training company.

The web-based training solution was created to help carriers reduce turnover rates and new hire costs.

Dan Case, president of the OTA, said this partnership will give prospective truck drivers the opportunity to utilize valuable video training for all types of truck drivers.

Two companies with drivers who earned certification from online truck driver training recently celebrated the fact that two of their drivers reached 3 million miles of safe driving for their company. The two drivers gave much credit to the online truck driving training program.
