A local truck driver training school in California promises to give prospective truckers the appropriate CDL training within 30 days to enter these professionals into the workforce.

The school is working to get drivers available FOR trucking companies in California to supplement the need for truckers in the workforce equipped with a professional truck driving skill set, as well as equipment safety training desired by companies such as Werner Enterprises, CRST Expedited, Swift Transportation, Schneider National, Fox Transportation and Certified Transportation.

"Many of our graduates are hired on the spot at our monthly job fairs because they are highly skilled and have a 98 percent California Department of Motor Vehicles pass rate," said Byron Allen, the director of the driving academy.

Another truck driver training opportunity is available for prospective truckers in Oklahoma, with a truck driving school in the state equipped with mock parking lots, straightaways, sharp corners and rows of cargo containers. The setup allows drivers to perfect their craft, reported State Impact.

The source said the school features low tuition, and it is able to certify roughly 700 new truckers each year.
