Future truck drivers who have recently completed their CDL training and live in the Ohio area may be in luck for new job prospects. According to FOX Toledo News, the Toledo Lucas County Port Authority has announced it will be hiring hundreds of new truckers and freight hauling professionals through BX Solutions, a local cargo sorting facility.

Government officials say they hope this new company, which is replacing the now closed BAX Global facility, will offer much-needed jobs to local residents. They plan on hiring many of the individuals who may have lost their jobs due to the uncertain economic times.

"I got a message for the people of Toledo. The sun is starting to rise," Ohio Governor John Kasich told the news source. "Get rid of that negative attitude. We're starting to win up here."

The company’s website states that BX Solutions aims to hire new workers for their company that operates seven days a week sorting and handling packaged materials. Truckers looking for employment may want to research new companies, for they are often in a hiring process to fill new positions.
