Created: Tuesday, January 8th, 2013 04:01 pm

The Mid-West Truckers Association will hold its second annual Mid-West Truck and Trailer Show on February 1-2, 2013, in Peoria, Illinois. Trucking executives, CDL drivers and other members of the industry can attend the convention to gain new information on what is happening in the world of trucking.

"The 2013 show includes expanded displays, programs and space for nearly 200 exhibitors to help truck operators move ahead in a complex market while facing the challenges of changing regulations, and uncertain economy and increased costs," said Don Schaefer, executive vice president of the Mid-West Truckers Association.

At the convention, representatives from state and federal agencies will also be in attendance to discuss the issues facing the trucking industry and the regulations in the works to help eradicate problems. Attendees will also be able to browse displays featuring the latest tractors, trailers, engines, accessories, computer and communication equipment, lubricants, truck parts, tires and services to enter the industry.

For added fun, the event features a Truckers Pride Truck Beautify Contest with People's Choice Award and antique vehicle categories. Attendees can vote on the entries in these categories, and the winners will be announced at the convention.
