Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association announces new conference
The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association recently announced the addition of the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue Conference, the newest component to the Heavy Duty Dialogue conference series.
The HDAD conference will include segments on the Heavy Duty Industry Forecast and the North American Economic Outlook. Each segment will include panels in relation to suppliers, distributors/dealers and fleets with components on consolidation, utility and complexity of components, balance of power in the market, globalization of supply base and the uncertain value chain, Truckinginfo.com reported.
In addition to the segments, the conference will include a breakfast, breaks and a luncheon to help fleet management personnel, professional drivers and other members of the industry network with one another.
“The structure of the program will provide us the opportunity to focus on the key issues driving both the current and future heavy-duty aftermarket,” said Stu MacKay, president of MacKay & Company. “Our research indicates that fleet customer practices are changing – and often quite significantly – as many sectors of this customer base continue to consolidate.”
The Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue Conference will take place on January 21, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Registration is now open and can be completed on the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association website.
