Ford truck company moves some manufacturing jobs back to the U.S.

Although outsourcing jobs seems to be a popular decision in uncertain economic times, one truck manufacturing company is doing the opposite. Recently, the Ford Motor Company announced its plans for moving some processing that was originally in Mexico to their Ohio factory, providing additional jobs for those involved in the trucking industry who reside in the area, reports EMoney Daily.

This move in production will affect the creation of commercial truck models medium duty F-650 and 750. This may change the way some fleet management owners obtain their equipment for their fleets in the future.

Len DeLuca, director of the commercial truck branch at Ford, said that the date of the move has not been set yet and past partnerships with other production companies may change along with the location of production.

According to the Ford website, this massive corporation produces both personal and commercial trucking equipment for drivers nationwide. Ford often utilizes some of the latest technological and designs in their its products, and pride themselves in providing many jobs for those involved in trucking across America.
