Expanding truck manufacturing companies welcome additional employees

Many successful trucking companies are looking to bring on new hires as their businesses expand to continue to keep up with demands. Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is one organization that plans on adding more than 12,000 additional employees to payroll, reports Overdrive Online.

DTNA is bringing back several laid off employees to their production plants and administrative staff, as the business grows, to accommodate their clients.

Roger Nielsen, chief operating officer of DTNA, says said that he looks forward to the new hires.

"We have the capacity and the leverage to meet customer delivery schedules despite the industry supply challenges associated with economic recovery and recent global events," he told the news source.

Manufacturing plants are located throughout the country, such as in Oregon, North Carolina and New Jersey. They produce various vehicles, such as natural gas trucks, hybrids and freightliner M2 business class models

According to Trucking Info, Wingfoot Commercial is launching a truck care center in Missouri that has provided jobs to local residents and fleet management services. The business provides services such as oil changes, break maintenance and mechanical light repairs.
