Companies recognize top-notch truckers during special appreciation week
Regardless of the economic times or fluctuating job market, truckers are constantly needed by the American public to transport goods and materials throughout the country. Some organizations are praising the continual efforts made by drivers by hosting various events that honor those that perform this sometimes tough job. For example, Freight Capital, a company specializing in freight services, has been treating truckers to special bonuses at truck stops across California to celebrate Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
Companies are giving back to these commercial drivers by offering special promotions and giveaways to promote trucker health and well being. At select rest stops, Freight Capital will be offering truckers fun freebies, such as duffel bags, hats and model race cars.
From September 12-15, this special week commemorates those truckers who uphold the highest standards of truck driving safety. More than 3 million truck drivers haul freight in the U.S. every year. Through years of experience and dedication to compliance training for truck drivers, these types of workers play a significant role in how the nation manages its business and transports the cargo it needs to all corners of the country.
