Clean Energy Fuels released a second edition of "The Road to Natural Gas" to update trucking companies, airports, fleet management officials, refuse haulers and other organizations about the advantages of making the switch to natural gas. The report included information on station construction, transportation fuel, new agreements that have been signed since the first edition was released earlier this year and other services offered by Clean Energy.

"The momentum towards natural gas in transportation is definitely picking up speed," Andrew Littlefair, CEO and president of Clean Energy, said. "The second edition of The Road to Natural Gas confirms Clean Energy's leadership position in providing a growing list of customers with the CNG, LNG and services that allow them to take advantage of the economic and environmental benefits of using natural gas."

Aside from reducing greenhouse gas emissions by up to 30 percent and lowering vehicle operating costs, natural gas is currently priced as much as $1.50 a gallon less than diesel or gasoline. Ninety-eight percent of the natural gas used in the United States is produced at home or in Canada, making the fuel a secure, stable energy choice for North America.
