Big and bold trucks on display at annual convention
Sometimes, truck drivers just need a reason to get together and discuss how great their job is on the road. Ohio will welcome truckers from around the country this weekend for its annual expo that highlights some of the best features of the trucking industry, reports Fox 19 News.
There will be a large array of activities and demonstrations that celebrate trucking, including forums, a job fair section and live entertainment.
A few celebrities will be attending the event. Edgar Hansen, who was on the reality show The Deadliest Catch, will have a booth for autographs and questions. John Ratenberger, better known as Cliff Clavin from the TV show Cheers, will also be making an appearance.
According to The Wilmington News Journal, a big draw to the convention is the antique truck show. The primped and polished vehicles will be lined up in front of the main convention center for viewing by the public as well as judges who will vote on the best trucks and award prizes.
