A&S snatches Kinard

A&S Services Group recently acquired nearly all of Kinard Trucking's assets in an effort to enhance its fleet management strategies.

By joining forces, A&S and Kinard will be able to offer leading transportation solutions to serve major shippers across the Mid-Atlantic region, from North Carolina to Maine and west to Indiana. The partnership will take advantage of the strengths of each company to spur growth, while combining resources and skilled employees to acquire and maintain a leading role in the transportation industry.

The companies boast efficient use of fleet management software, successful professional drivers, vast customer base and high levels of customer service. The companies each operate state-of-the-art trucks that surpass standards set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

Further, both companies are focused on not only expanding business but also practicing environmental and social responsibility. The companies are designated SmartWay Transport Partners working to improve fuel efficiency and offer employee training on how to boost productivity while reducing waste.
