Rolling Strong shows dedication to truck driver health

Looking to arm drivers with better education regarding trucker health, the 2012 Rolling Strong Driver Wellness Tour will begin on April 18. As part of its campaign, Rolling Strong will give drivers access to tools to help them be healthier on the road.

Throughout the tour, which will roll through nine Pilot Flying J locations, truckers will get the opportunity to sample different health products from companies like Bayer HealthCare and EBOOST, as well as learn a number of short workouts using a truck.   

"We are very excited to kick off the 2012 Rolling Strong Driver Wellness Tour," said Bob Perry, "The Trucker Trainer" and president of Rolling Strong. "Rolling Strong is here to help trucking companies of any size begin a wellness program designed for their drivers' needs and their unique workplace out there on the road."

Rolling Strong recently came out with another measure to improve trucker health. The "RoadApp,"which is available for iPhone, iPad and any computer, helps professional drivers get on the right path to improved health by providing wellness information, maps to regional clinic locations and restaurant nutrition guides.
