Peterbilt releases advancements in its technology

In its never-ending goal of improving overall trucker health, Peterbilt recently the release of its  Bendix Wingman Advanced collision mitigation technology is available for all of its truck models.

A few of the features of the Bendix Wingman Advanced product has to offer include a radar sensor that can help driver detect rear collisions, object alerts that warn a driver when they are approaching a stationary object, adaptive cruise control which ensures a driver is maintaining a safe speed and a technology that helps a driver in cruise control prepare for a potential rear end collision.

"This newest product offering achieves both of these goals and has been incorporated into multiple vehicle platforms serving the full range of customer applications," said Peterbilt General Manager and PACCAR Vice President Bill Kozek. "Now, customers can operate Peterbilt trucks that are not only the most productive, reliable and efficient in the industry, but also are among the safest."

Another recent advancement in technology released by Peterbilt is its all-new Model 579, which is complete with a number of innovations including increased fuel efficiency and an interior that maximizes productivity and comfort.
