New invention could improve trucker health
In an effort to improve trucker health, InventHelp recently announced one of its North Carolina-based clients developed a patented portable blender that is designed to be installed in a truck, called the To Go Health.
The blender would enable truckers to make themselves healthier foods and drinks while they are taking a quick break from their routes. Truckers who have access to the new blender would be able to have a healthier diet, cutting out the need to stop at fast food restaurants as frequently while pursuing healthier eating habits.
To Go Health is designed to plug into a truck's cigarette lighter or cigarette point, and also features a portable six-ounce cup, a flat or domed flip-up lid, base threads, a sealing ring and blades, and would function like most other blenders.
Truckers can also eat more better by following some smart eating strategies provided by the Bangor Daily News, a newspaper based in Maine.
The paper said truckers should be sure to eat a low-fat breakfast, then avoid fried and fatty foods for lunch and dinner. A replacement for fried food is grilled food, which has a much lower fat content.
