In honor of trucker health and safety throughout the new year, local company throws party
The America Truck Group (ATG) has provided big rigs and trucking equipment to local drivers in Mississippi that follow CSA compliance laws throughout the year. According to WLOX News in Mississippi, the organization went a step further and recognized their employees and other community members during their annual holiday party.
While celebrating a great business year, ATG offered all those involved in the company an array of festive food and sweets. Members of the local Boys and Girls Club, vendors and the Christian Pass organization all were encouraged to attend as well. Once gathered, officials from ATG handed out special gifts, toys and more to all the children present as a token of appreciation to the town of Gulfport.
Even Santa himself made an appearance at the event. He gave his reindeer a break and instead arrived on his sleigh perched atop a red Volvo 780 semi truck.
Those who have recently completed their CDL training can look for employment with companies like ATG that send positive messages to their local communities by giving back during the holiday season.
