Work Truck Show to be a learning opportunity for truckers

Trucking companies can learn about some of the newest innovations in fleet management while attending the National Truck Equipment Association's Work Truck Show, which is taking place at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis on March 6-8.

According to the NTEA's website, the show include 500,000 square feet of vocational trucks and equipment, as well as the opportunity to take part in more than 60 programs that focus on regulatory compliance and business management.

Heavy Duty Trucking magazine reported more than 120 of the 560-plus exhibiting companies plan to debut 140 products that relate to all facets of the work truck industry. Floor space at the show is currently sold out and registration from the show is 18 percent higher than the previous year.

A Green Truck Summit will also take place at the show, with U.S. Secretary of Energy Dr, Steven Chu featured as the keynote speaker. The summit will showcase some advancement in energy efficient fuel, as well as information on how commercial and vocational vehicles can be more green, said the magazine.
