Women In Trucking adds Great Dane Trailers as a Gold Level Partner

Non-profit organization Women In Trucking has recently added another Gold Level Partner, which support the mission of the company, with the addition of Great Dane Trailers that will join Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, Frito-Lay, Hyundai Translead and Walmart.

Great Dane Trailers has been known for its excellence in fleet management as a leader in technology, innovation and quality for its dry van, refrigerated and platform trailers.

"With the addition of Great Dane Trailers, we now have five corporate members that have moved beyond their membership into a partnership where they have greater influence in the activities of the association," said Ellen Voie, president and CEO of WIT. "Great Dane’s support will help us move our mission to bring more women into the trucking industry at all levels, including trailer manufacturing and sales."

WIT was also at the Mid-American Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, where it held its third annual Salute to Women Behind the Wheel event that honors women involved in the trucking industry. More than 200 women were honored by WIT, who also used to forum to discuss the future of the non-profit.
