Some professionals in charge of fleet management in major trucking companies are offering some unique initiatives to those who are maintaining clean records while on the road. According to Insurance News, one business is going above and beyond what other companies have been doing to reward its drivers for accident-free records and their efforts in supporting truck driving safety.

Evans Delivery, a logistics company that does business across the country, presents Harley Davidson motorcycles to its truckers who boast impeccable driving records. Florida resident Ernest Newby was the company's most recent recipient of a Harley, which he earned for his great work in navigating a clean route for Wal-Mart.

"Safety is a cornerstone of the Evans network of companies," Kim Lorimer, vice president and safety director, said in a statement. "The incentive program is one way we promote and reward our drivers who operate safely throughout the year."

The Evans Network of Companies has been providing services nationwide with its fleet of more than 1,600 big rigs for years, reports the corporation's website. Truckers who have recently completed their CDL training may want to research the incentive programs various trucking businesses offer, as they can vary greatly from business to business.
