Recently, the Celadon Trucking company was recognized by a large corporation for its efforts in offering superior service and logistics. Walmart Stores awarded Celadon with the 2011 General Merchandise Platinum Carrier of the Year award for delivering materials across the country in a timely and efficient manner.

"Celadon continues to provide surge capacity and consistent performance to several business units in the Walmart supply chain," Ken Braunbach, senior director of transportation for Walmart, said in a statement. "We are grateful for everything they do to support our corporate mission of saving people money so they can live better."

In the past, Celadon has received other honors from Walmart, including the Rising Star Award and the title of Diamond Carrier of the Year.

The trucking company has been serving locations throughout North America for years, hauling freight in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Their various business braches cover things such as supply chain management solutions, less-than-truckload services and warehousing.

Truckers who have recently completed their CDL training can research employment opportunities with companies that have recently received awards. These types of business may be ideal to work for if they have a strong business ethic and success rate.
