Managers of trucking fleets have the important task of monitoring the whereabouts of their drivers to ensure ongoing trucking safety regulations are met. Recently, the TrakPro company introduced a state-of-the-art product that helps supervisors keep track of all their big rigs on the road at once.

Called the TrakPro GPS Tracking system, this program allows managers to monitor up to 50 vehicles at a time to see where they are located. If the truck is equipped with GPS already, it may be immediately be tracked with this system.

Since the software uses the internet, any data collected from the system is not stored on the computer, which frees up space for other tasks. The tracking system streamlines the need to check in with individual truckers, because the software can keep all coordinates of the trucks organized in one place. All information may be saved and put into spreadsheets for future reference as well.

GPS systems have changed the way owners operate their companies, because routes and times are more easily tracked, which makes for an overall more efficient fleet.
