Decisiv expands management solution to promote efficiency through technology

Decisiv, a cloud-based management solution, is expanding the functionality of its service to offer new tools to help with fleet management service operations.

“The next generation of Decisiv Service Management Platform includes shop management features for internal operations similar to those in use by dealers, distributors and independent service providers,” said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv.  

The service was initially used by dealers to help improve communication between fleets regarding maintenance and repair progress. The new additions, including consolidated service management, scheduled maintenance management and mobile check-in capabilities, help personnel communicate more efficiently with the use of real-time data.

“Why is it so important? Because commercial assets are expensive to purchase, service and maintain,” the Decisiv website explained. “Uptime is critical to the core business, while downtime is costly. Maintenance and service are complex, and costs vary wildly if not managed. The service and maintenance experience even drives decisions on future purchases.”

The solutions offered by the Decisiv Platform help put an end to hours wasted on the phone looking for maintenance schedules, inspections, authorization and history; keeps all asset-specific information in one place; and keeps fleet managers informed on anticipated costs and repair times.
