Convention for truckers helps raise accident awareness, offers advice
Trucking conferences are a great way for drivers and fleet management owners to gain great knowledge about their exciting and progressive industry. This weekend, truckers will gather together at the National Interstate Trucking Summit in Missouri to swap ideas and thoughts about managing this business and making improvement amongst their own trucking companies.
Sponsored by the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America and The National Trail Lawyers organization, this event will feature professional lectures and presentations about various topics regarding the industry, especially when it comes to ensuring trucking safety and accident prevention.
Among the speakers will be Bob Swint, who is chief executive officer of ATA Associates, which helps trucking companies gather and organize the information they need to accurately report any instances their drivers have on the road. He will address certain response tactics that trucking companies can utilize while handing mishaps, such as ensuring accurate and timely vehicle and site inspections.
Those who attend this conference and others with similar safety themes may gain valuable knowledge about how to better run a company or how to best deal with an accident when it may occur.
