Xata User Event to be keynoted by Steve Largent

At the upcoming Xata User Event in Minneapolis, Xata announced its plan to bring in Steve Largent, former congressman, NFL wide receiver and current president and CEO of CTIA-The Wireless Association, as the keynote speaker.

"We're honored to have someone of Steve's experience and caliber shed light on wireless trends for XUE attendees, as the trucking industry and the technology it uses changes rapidly every year," said Christian Schenk, vice president of product marketing for Xata.

Largent is expected to discuss how wireless trends are becoming a larger part of fleet management for trucking companies across the United States. Attendees of the event can also learn about issues related to fleet optimization, compliance and the trends that are taking over the trucking industry.

The Xata User Event will take place at the DoubleTree Minneapolis on August 12 to 14, and besides learning experiences for members of the trucking industry, it will also give attendees an opportunity to network with others in the industry and discuss some of the tops methods for fleet management.
